You've Already Proven You Can Build. This Is About Who You Become Next.
An eight-day initiation in the Norwegian fjords for entrepreneurs, leaders and high performers who have the life they built — and want to find out who they'd be without it.
APPLICATIONS REVIEWED PERSONALLY · 15-MINUTE CALL WITH AJ
You didn't come here because something's wrong.
That's what makes it hard to explain.
The business works. The money's fine. On paper, this is the life you drew up ten years ago and sacrificed for. And still — somewhere around Tuesday afternoon, there's a flatness you can't name and definitely can't say out loud without sounding ungrateful.
You've thrown everything at it. Another program. Another retreat. Another quarter of goals. Another mastermind in a hotel ballroom with bad lighting and a lanyard, where you took eleven pages of notes you have never once opened.
Here's what nobody tells high performers:
You cannot think your way into becoming someone new.
Insight isn't transformation. You already have the insight — you've had it for years. What you don't have is an experience big enough, hard enough, and far enough outside your control to actually change who you believe you are.
Every culture that lasted knew this. Which is why every culture that lasted had initiation, and ours quietly deleted it.
So we get a generation of competent, successful, exhausted adults who have never once been sent out, tested, and brought back changed.

This is not an event. Please don't come expecting one.
We've been to more than 47 high-end events between us and spent 15 years working with high-level leaders. So we know exactly which ones people are still talking about years later, and which ones evaporate before the flight home.
Here's the pattern:

You are not flying to Norway to sit indoors under fluorescent light taking notes about courage.
You're going to go get some.
Eight days. One valley. The version of you that's been waiting.
Gudvangen sits at the end of Nærøyfjord — a UNESCO World Heritage site, walls of rock rising straight out of black water, a place Norwegians have called the Valley of the Gods for a thousand years.
At the end of it is a living Viking village. Not a museum. Hand-forged ironwork, carvings based on Viking Age findings, longhouses built with the same materials as the old stave churches. We have private access.

- LIVE IT
- You don't study the Viking world here. You do the work with the tools, in the place, with people whose lineage it is.
- GET TESTED
- Fjords, forests and mountains, at a level any reasonably healthy adult can meet and every adult will feel.
- GO INWARD
- World-class practitioners in mindset, breath, ceremony and emotional optimization. Hypnotherapy and NLP among them.
- SIT AT THE FIRE
- Sixteen people who don't need anything from you, in the only kind of conversation that actually moves a life.
- GO DARK
- Phone off. Inbox unattended. The business survives. It always does.
How the eight days are built
SEVER
You arrive still carrying it: the phone, the roles, the version of you that has to be impressive. That comes off first.
TEST
The middle is where the real thing happens. Cold. Elevation. Effort. Old practices with old tools. The place your identity has been quietly negotiating with you for years gets found and pressed on.
CLAIM
What you came for stops being a concept. You name it, out loud, in front of people, in a place that makes lying to yourself impossible.
RETURN
Initiation without a return is just a vacation. We build the reentry: what you're taking home, what stays in the valley, and who's holding you to it.

What people take home
Not the brochure version. What attendees report months later:
A decision they'd been avoiding for years, made in under a week. The partner bought out. The offer killed. The hire fired. The marriage fought for.
Their nervous system back. Sleeping again. Present at dinner. Not reaching for the phone at every red light.
Physical courage that transfers. What you find out you can do in a Norwegian fjord doesn't stay in the fjord. It shows up in the next hard conversation.
A dozen people who now know the real version of them — and a group thread that's still alive years later.
A story their kids will tell. Legacy isn't a portfolio. It's what your family says you were like.
The Viking Initiation is a world class event — truly unique and unforgettable, in an absolutely beautiful and breathtaking part of the world. From the location, to the teachers, to the authentic immersion in Viking life and history, they thought of everything and organized it perfectly.
It was epic. If you don't go, you'll regret it. The view alone is worth the entire price. If you go to Norway without this group, you'll never get to have the experiences you'll have here.
Look at who you'd be standing next to
Past attendees have included:
- A former U.S. Army Ranger — 2nd Battalion, 75th Regiment — now one of the leading voices in authentic masculinity
- A recently retired clandestine operative from a U.S. intelligence agency, now consulting on human performance for government leaders
- The co-founder of a movement that's helped thousands leave their 9-to-5
- A COO running $300M in assets across 3M square feet
- One of the top email copywriters alive
- A founder who built a network marketing organization to $50M in two years
- Investors, healers, athletes, coaches and creators from across the world
Sixteen seats. Every one interviewed. The room is the product.
The people who hold this

AJ Yager — Host
Entrepreneur since he was ten years old. A leading expert in mindset and emotional optimization for high performers, using hypnotherapy and NLP to break the plateaus strategy can't touch. Thirty-three countries and counting. Fiercely protective of the container, and unconditionally supportive inside it.
[NORWEGIAN CO-HOST]
Born and raised in the fjords of western Norway. Twenty-five years building companies. Martial artist, blacksmith, woodcarver, mead brewer, sword and axe. He isn't playing a part — this is his valley and his lineage.
[PRACTITIONER — SOUND / SOMATIC / BREATH]
Sound energy, somatic work, pranic breathing and ceremony. The bridge between the physical days and what they open up.
[PRACTITIONER — NORSE TRADITION]
Runes, ritual and the old Scandinavian practices — taught with respect and integrity, as a discipline for self-knowledge rather than performance.
Where you'll stay
Gudvangen Fjordtell — Viking-style lodging at the water's edge, at the mouth of the fjord, steps from the Viking Village. Norwegian seasonal cooking built on local, organic ingredients: seafood pulled from the water in front of you, local meat, honey and beer, eaten under glass with the fjord and the mountains on the other side.
It is not a five-star resort. It's a Viking village at the edge of a fjord — which is the entire point, and better.

APPLY IF
- You've built something real and you're privately restless about what's next
- You're willing to be a beginner in front of people who are also successful
- You can be fully off for eight days and the business won't fall over
- You want the inner work and the adventure, not one dressed up as the other
- You're reasonably healthy and can handle a full day outdoors and a real hike
DON'T APPLY IF
- You want to network. Go to a mastermind — they're cheaper and better at it.
- You need to be the most impressive person in the room
- You're going to take calls from the fjord
- You want an itinerary you can control
- You're looking for a luxury retreat. This is beautiful, but it is not soft.
- Someone else is talking you into it. Coming to please a spouse, a coach or a business partner wastes a seat someone else wanted.
We turn people down. Not to be exclusive — because sixteen people share every meal, every fire and every hard moment for eight days, and one wrong person costs everyone.

What it costs
This is a five-figure investment. Exact pricing, payment plans and what's included are covered on your call — because at this level, the number should come with a conversation, not a checkout button.
What we'll tell you now: it's less than you've spent in the last three years on programs that changed nothing, and roughly what you'll spend on the next thing you buy in order to feel something.
One note your accountant will like. If you own a legitimate company, some or many of these expenses may be deductible as training and development. Talk to your CPA — but talk to them before you decide the price is the reason.
Questions

A year from now, you'll have spent the money either way.
You will. On something. That's not the choice.
The choice is whether twelve months from now you're the same person having the same Tuesday afternoon — or whether there's a specific eight days you can point to and say that's when it changed.
The Vikings didn't produce courage through contemplation. They put people on a boat and sent them somewhere hard.
Sixteen seats. One valley. The rest is your call.
Apply. Ten minutes. Tell us who you are and what you're actually after. Vague applications get declined.
We read it. Personally. Every one.
Fifteen-minute call. Both directions.
If it's a fit, you get a seat. If it isn't, we'll say so plainly.
